During the 18th century the traders
of Britain’s largest trading cities which where Glasgow, Manchester and London these
cities pleaded the House of Commons for the finality of all contracts or in
other terms, ‘free trade’. Which in 1823
has led to the Reciprocity of Duties
Act, which is a fundamental advantage, which allowed Britain to sign joint
trading arrangements with foreign powers on an individual base.
But then other out-of-date features of the
Navigation Laws were also cancelled. It was becoming extensively traditional
that the freeing of trade in this way or platform would make goods cheaper to create,
and make them more aggressively competetive in the international marketplace. Which
has led to the increase in exports and prosperity, slowly but surely.
