This will help me in making a quick and steady start to learning, giving me an idea on the pace in which I am able to teach. In order to plan my workshop I will create handouts containing information relevant to the session. For example, I will print out some standard CV templates containing important points to remember when creating a CV. I will design a quiz for learners to ensure their progress as well as preparing an ice breaker activity, enabling learners to warm to each other. I will need to give information about the objectives of the workshop as well as writing up some important Health & Safety ground rules which will be displayed throughout the session. I will prepare my scheme of work based around feedback received prior to the workshop, detailing training needs.

I will also need to plan my work within time targets set by management. In the workshop I will be expected to give information to small groups of people on CV??™s as well as recruitment processes and mock interview techniques. I will ask open questions to get an idea of what my learners??™ hope to achieve. I will keep the session interesting by encouraging group participation exercises relevant to the session, offering colourful handouts for learner??™s to keep alongside using Power Point slides to demonstrate important factors to consider in writing a CV. I will also give my learners a chance to write a draft CV to a computer, incorporating the information picked up in the session.

I will ensure that any learners that need extra support at this time will be able to participate by pairing learners up to help each other. I will check my students learning by asking questions throughout the session and observing activities that I set, making learner account and by saving their draft CV for future reference. I will continue to follow the progress of my students after the workshop is complete until they have gained employment.I will judge how well my course and teaching went by collecting feedback questionnaires at the end of the session.

It will be useful to keep this information on record, using feedback to improve my workshop. I will attend meetings with management to discuss feedback and development ideas.I will have to work within professional boundaries, for example I will need to consider Data protection in my workshop as I will be handling sensitive information, I will also need to my own organisations code of practice such as, display screen equipment regulations.
