Ross behaviour when playing the prisoners dilemma is

Ross and Samuels experiment (1993)on the impact of construal’s and labels particularly on people behaviour whenplaying the prisoners dilemma is vital in understanding how labels played a keyrole in individuals behaviour. There were two groups those who played the WallStreet Game and those who played the Community game. Due to the labels thosewho played the Community game cooperated much more than those playing the WallStreet Game. This experiment is fundamental to the new world we live in and theneed for the media to create balanced headlines and labels when dealing withconflicts as emotionally our perception of the conflict will always be dictatedby the labels to forward by the media.
