Honestly this is one of those moviesthat is best seen relatively blind. The performances are great, the chemistrybetween characters is pitch perfect. The tone of the film is absolutely splendid. When it comes to technical production, the camera work wasquite a letdown. Never the less While the camera-work can be erratic at times, the rest of the movie prevails in being an underdog story about one of the mostmysterious underdogs in all of cinema history. The biopic of how Tommy Wiseauand Greg Sestero met and make The Room (2003) is actually quite an upliftingadventure.

The real life story isso further than anything believable that if this were a work of fiction, itcould immediately be dismissed as just that. By everything we witness in”The Disaster Artist”, Tommy is so incredibly inapt yet convinced ofhis own talent. One would want to conclude that The Disaster Artist, James Francoconversely sets out to tell the story behind the “worst movie ever” in a verygood film.
